About us:

NRGene Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of NRGene Ltd., a publicly traded Israeli company (TASE:NRGN). NRGene’s mission is to develop better crops for agriculture by applying the most advanced genomic analysis technology to accelerate natural breeding (non-GMO). NRGene Canada is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where it operates as an R&D center applying NRGene’s technology towards applications such as genotyping and developing new traits in canola plants and other organisms.

About this position:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Coordinator to lead the marketing efforts for our plant-based food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with a focus on food products, and a passion for promoting sustainable and plant-based lifestyles.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy Execution: Assist in the implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our cutting-edge food-tech products, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
  • Brand Management: Support the maintenance and enhancement of our brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistency and resonance with our audience.
  • Product Launch Support: Coordinate product launch activities, including the development of marketing materials, managing promotional events, and liaising with various teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the food-tech market, providing valuable insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Digital Marketing Oversight: Collaborate with the marketing team to oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns, spanning social media, email marketing, and influencer partnerships, to drive brand visibility and engagement.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to develop marketing collateral, sales presentations, and promotional campaigns that support sales efforts and drive revenue growth.
  • Content Creation: Contribute to the creation of compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of participation in industry events, trade shows, and consumer expos to increase brand awareness and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the food industry, with a focus on plant-based products.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for sustainable and plant-based lifestyles.
