NRGene workshop featured thought leaders from universities and research centers around the world specializing in maize, wheat, and vegetables, who discussed their whole genome analyses projects, facilitated by the NRGene products:

DeNovoMAGIC™ assembler and GenoMAGIC™ which elucidated the complexity of their populations of interest. Each talk demonstrated a specific use of the GenoMAGIC™ platform together with phenotypic information to reach new genetic understating on the desired traits and practical use in advanced breeding. The advance of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies has enabled the sequencing of large populations of plants, some of which have very complex and/or polyploid genomes.However, the lack of adequate data analysis tools is still a major barrier for research into those crops. NRGene has provided these scientists and many others a practical solution – GenoMAGIC™, a novel computational platform that analyzes large and diverse populations of the most complex plant genomes, helping researchers and breeders correlate genetic sequence with information about plant.
